Hello from Korina Marie Photography!!

So, I wanted to have a little place where I was able to post some of my favorite pictures from a shoot. I share all my photos on Facebook, but not everyone can get on it or have the patience to deal with the crazy that is Facebook! So here we are, to the much easier blog! But I guess we should introduce ourselves first so you know who you will be reading about! So here are some quick facts:

1. My name is Korina Biemesderfer. I started this photography "business" after second shooting with an old friend of mine. Eventually, I started my own photography page! 

2. Now, with starting my own photography page, came talking to others and meeting strangers. I have to admit I have anxiety when dealing with those I don't know well. I felt I couldn't make them feel comfortable in a potentially iffy situation that comes with posing behind the camera. So I needed a buffer, someone who loves to talk and makes everyone else feel comfortable in front of the camera: I brought in my husband, Dillon!

3. So now, we are a husband and wife team! He gives the comfort and the genuine laughs (especially with kids!) and I snap away at these wonderful faces!  Having someone who doesn't mind being a little silly, makes all the difference when taking photos. He does take pictures at weddings as well, which is always a two person job! 

4. I have been photographing people since I met the ham that is my husband (In October of 2009). He was in bands who needed promo shots and live shots. So, with a little help and guidance, I picked up the camera and fell in love. It evolved from strictly band and live photography to wanting to do it all! And that is what I am trying to do! 

5. I will photography nearly anything! The more creative the better! I have my degree in technical theatre, concentrating on makeup, so the creative aspects of photo shoots is what I live for. I am one for more creative shots, not the Olan Mills poses and stiff faces. 

6. I try my hardest to avoid artificial light, natural light gives that look that I cant get enough of. I try and edit my pictures to look as natural as possible. No crazy edits. I want them to be timeless and look and feel like you did when you requested the shoot! 

So those are some facts about me, my photography, and my new life as a photographer! I want you to know what to expect when you ask for a shoot. We are fun, and we try to make your experience exciting and put you at ease. No forced smiles!
